A short novel on men’s fashion covers thirty years at Pitti Immagine Uomo and is a project by Fondazione Pitti Immagine Discovery curated by Olivier Saillard. Twice a year in Florence guest stylists and noble brands meet at Pitti. A short novel on mens fashion celebrates the anniversary of Pitti with all kinds of garments, painted works from the Gallery of Modern Art and historical costumes mirrored with a selection of literary texts. The unique collection of more than 150 garments now forms a display donated to the Fashion Museum located at Palazzo Pitti. The exhibition is a tribute to Marco Rivetti, a famous visionary entrepreneur who foresaw the great future of this discipline an endowed it with commitment and culture.
