‘OSTAL 24’ S/S Fichu Pour Fichu – Marine Serre at Les Jardins d’Olympe

Dear Shaded Viewers,

It’s all about simple things in life, cooking , eating together, dancing, listening to the quiet of nature, never rushing and forever recycling, recycling, recycling.  Familiar kitchen towels,  popcorn fabric and silk scarves merge into one garment and look like they are enjoying each other’s company. The mash-up of fabrics and textures make for a relaxed, no sell-out date collection. Regenerated denim and dutch tablecloths clothe both men and women. The half moon appears in lace and printed on bodysuits, tights and covers the arms and hands.

Her half moon design was such a clever idea, no matter where you are in the world you can always spot someone wearing Marine Serre. Maybe Marine Serre is the new Ralph Lauren replacing the horse with a half moon. Marine Serre would like us all to march into the future with our eyes open, think about the planet, why we do what we do and in the meantime consider what zero waste  entails and do your best to lower your carbon foot print.

Later,

Diane
