Dear Diane, dear shaded viewers,Tonight my heart is full after watching Donka at the Piccolo Teatro with my friend Ivo. After the show we were speechless,it was astonishing.Donka is inspired by Anton Anton Checkhov diaries , in russian donka means jingle bells. Chechov loved fishing, and he used go fishing in order to meditate and reflect, he had his little bell with him. The director Daniele Finzi Pasca has created a dreamy world with amazing costumes, elegant lights, clowns, jugglers and acrobats. The whole experience is magnificant with a soundtrack from the Russian Folk songs repertory.
