Dear Shaded Viewers,
My friend Miguel Villalobos was invited to Berlin in order to receive an award from Sebastian for the New to the Eye photography prize but we had no idea what he won so it was all a bit of a mystery. Prizes are often like that, I know at Hyeres people never know exactly what it is that they just won. Sebastian discovered Miguel’s work when he did the cover story of the only IQONS magazine, which happened to have been sponsored by Sebastian. The cover story was A Time line of a Love Story –Isabel and Ruben Toledo. Michelle Obama , by the way, wore Isabel Toledo to meet the Queen. I decided to come to Berlin to share in the celebration.Congratulations to Miguel and his great team.
