Eric Daman Astronaut Wives Club starts tomorrow.

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Tomorrow Eric’s latest accomplishment “The Astronaut Wives Club” is launched, last time I was in contact with Eric he was woking on this. You know him from Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, Carries Diaries and now this… I knew him from when he was working at Magic Circle and we were both working on Balade de l’Amour back in 1991. There was never any doubt where he was headed. I wish I could watch the first 5 minute preview but it is not available in France…  Eric told @WhoWhatWear how he styled each of the women in The Astronaut Wives Club…”The style evolution of each wife is a sign of the times and a sign of their personal evolution as well. For the men it was about being launched into space, but for the wives it was about being launched into a social stratosphere. I tried to tell a fashion-as-final-frontier story tracking time and self-discovery with each outfit selection.  The transformation from everyday army wife in a homemade shirt waist dress to social butterfly best dressed in a Pucci pantsuit!” http://www.whowhatwear.com/go-behind-the-wardrobe-astronaut-wives-club-abc-summer-2015/

A little more about Eric…he is an Emmy Award winning costume designer, Costume Design Guild nominee, clothing designer, jewelry designer, fashion stylist, author and television personality. Currently Daman is the costume designer of CWTV’s The Carrie Diaries, prequel to Sex and the City. His work hit the tv series Gossip Girl for six seasons and prior to that assisted Pat Field on HBO’s Sex and the City. He’s designed 10 feature films among them The Door in the FLoor with Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger, Anamorph with Willem Dafoe, and many others. If you are in the states you can watch the preview: http://ericdamanstyle.com/.

The last time we saw each other was when he was in Paris filming Gossip Girl at the Chanel show.
