Lucy Bell Gallery celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the formation of The Who photographed by Colin Jones. Peter Townshend said that "Colin Jones was good company and gave me good advice." "During a separation with my girlfriend, he urged me to grovel a little to get her back, I did so and later married her."\
In the days with Colin, Townshend said that he used to carry his guitars, the ones still in one piece, in the back of the car. He often had to repair guitars after the shows and rarely had more than one electric guitar at one time.
