“Fuck Taboo” exhibition at Camera 16, Milan, text by Stefania Seoni

Dear Diane, dear shaded viewers,

The
exhibition  reveals
the most powerful and interesting works in
the large international scene, providing suggestions and points of reflection
of social criticism, through the poetic and the  personal vision of
the artists, each one with their own style, thoughts, feelings. Some
imagese, may appear too crude ,
but there is no easy  provocation, instead the will to highlight the state of  gay iconography ,
looking  for a reflection,
a knowledge, which induces a change at least a
little of the idea of ??a world that is often hidden, known only by those who is a part of it.
The works on display reflect a personal interpretation , the  result is a visual language dense, varied, bold and
unusual, with references to art history , film ,
but with a clear focus on sexuality
public and private, which affects and marks
our life.
