Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
Here is the first profile from one of the Pitti Uomo exhibitors that caught my eye. I paid a visit to the booth of Nigel Cabourn. I liked his take on traditional English worker and school uniform wear. His rough wools and substantial Harris Tweeds hark back to times when clothes were manufactured with care and were built to last. I also like that he combines traditional fabrics with modern ones, which saves Cabourn from veering too deep into nostalgia.
