Dear Shaded Viewers,
Transfiguration \\ Ambient Doesn't Work is the title of the joint exhibition by artists Gosha Rubchinsky and Kira Bunse showing in 74Quincampoix until tomorrow. Bunse's atmospheric photography is created through multiple exposures, and features portraits of young adolescent males. Rubchinsky's portraiture also documents teenage boys, exploring their passions for skateboarding and their apathy towards school. Both exhibitions sit harmoniously together, with work acknowledging personal identity and gender ideals.
The first two images are the work of Kira Bunse, and the five below are Gosha Rubchinsky.
