Dear Shaded Viewers,
ISSEY MIYAKE's Robert von Leszczynski and Postmasters Gallery's Paulina Bebecka have just launched ARTyleria Contemporary Art Projects, a new curatorial practice breaking away from traditional exhibition practices in hopes to help the public experience art through diverse channels. ARTyleria will specialize in production of interdisciplinary and experiential events, first of which takes off this Wednesday, August 8 at 7PM at Postmasters Gallery in New York City. The event, entitled "BATTLE: Elka Krajewska vs. John Williams," will feature two artists competing against each other with their individual performances incorporating video projectors, record players, and sculptures. The artists will look for audience's encouragement as they try to outdo one another in this highly stimulating blast of sound, video, and light. The event will be open to the public free of charge.
