Benoit Missolin and I were on the jury in Montreux last week. I had not seen him for a bit so I wanted to know what he’d been up to. He told me that since he stopped designing men’s and women’s collections he has been designing hats and it is going really well. Less stress, great orders, limited editions. In Paris you can find them at Bon Marche and Franck & Fils. All hats are made by hand and he limits the entire production for a season to 300 hats. Here are a few:
