Fashion designer Mirte Engelhard uses fashion as a language to tell stories. In collaboration with nine individuals, Mirte creates a collection of nine outfits in which the experience of war and freedom becomes visible. Stories come to life through the use of leftover materials, upcycling, and manipulation of sustainable fabrics. The shape, choice of colours, and details of the outfits reflect both the past and the present. I just read in @bof that @bengorham is leaving @of I just read in @bof that @bengorham is leaving @officialbyredo this month and could not resist publishing when we offered him a page of advertising in the one print issue of @therafaeljimenez s magazine Iqons where I was editor in chief . I first met @bengorham years before at +46 in Sweden when he was just starting his brand and had been assigned as my driver. Already his bath products were in the beautiful hotel where the press was staying. I insisted he put his handsome face in the ad as it would help build his dream. He resisted at first but consented and the rest is the history of his very successful career. On a side note @therafaeljimenez launched the magazine in 2006 when most people were only starting to use computers. He left in 2009. #perfume #paris #publishing Also I asked @imranamed to write an article which funny enough completes the circle then in Iqons and today in @bof A little #fashionhistory
