The collection was a tribute to the Olympic Games and the thousands of athletes participating in the event. Apart from the references to the iconography the collection is also inspired by the gentleman sportsman visible at the ceremonies of the Olympic Games. Andreas, Vivienne's husband, heads the Man team and acknowledged his position as Vivienne's partner for the first time.
