Arthur Robert is a Paris born and raised designer, and an alumni of the prestigious Atelier Chardon Savard. After working for various accomplished French houses, last year he founded his brand, Ouest World. Their style is self-described as a mix of “Paris, Biarritz and a dreamed California.” His presentation at this spring/summer men’s fashion week includes dyed denim in an ocean-blue palette, functional metallic accents, and rope cord accessories, all modeled by pretty shirtless boys dancing and flaunting around the stage. It’s surfer-boy meets city-boy, they fall in love and are having so much fun. Later on at the Palais De Tokyo I overheard a group of guys who I’m sure are very cool talking about the brand. Smells like someone to watch!
