Dear Shaded Viewers,
On my only trip to Dubai, so far, I was interviewed by Butheina Kazim, the co-founder of Cinema Akil as part of the Fashion Forward Dubai Design District event. We had a great connection and it was the beginning of a new friendship. I asked her on the spot to join the ASVOFF 8 jury at Centre Pompidou in Paris, she accepted, we met in Paris for ASVOFF8 and then again at the ASVOFF Cannes event this past May. Today she is 32 and what a past not to mention her incredible future. Happy Birthday my friend.
