Laura Albert in conversation with Grant Faulkner

In part 1 of my conversation with Grant Faulkner (Executive Producer of America’s Next Great Author, co-founder of 100 Word Story, co-host Write Minded Podcast), we discuss “The Art of Brevity,” his manual for writing very short fiction, as well as his new collection of stories, “All the Comfort Sin Can Provide.” Grant also speaks of his work as both a writer and an editor and teacher for other writers, and he underscores the need to communicate – “we want to be understood” – along with the responsibilities imposed on us when we write.
