Dear Shaded Viewers,
Pucci has unveiled its new FW24 collection titled ‘Parade.’ Delivering a fresh and daring spin on funk, the collection infuses music and dance into alluring silhouettes stretched out in dazzling prints – which the brand is exalted for.
Drawing inspiration from the funk legend Prince, a great deal of fluidity and flamboyance can be seen at the very core of the collection. Miceli does what she does best, make us stop and look twice! Creating a contemporary blend of masculine and feminine silhouettes, that features A-line skirts and blouses with taffeta balloon sleeves, sleek jersey dresses with printed edges, chic structured coats, and ultra-slim suits adorned with glittery stripes. Glamour comes in many forms in this collection, from 70s-inspired flared pants to body-hugging statement pieces and tights inspired by activewear.
Taking us on a journey through various moods throughout the collection, Parade showcases three key themes; Late Summer in the City, High Summer by the Sea and Urban Sunset. The first sees a re-introduction of Orchidee, a rhythmic print that joins Marmo and Iride on light, coordinated looks with a dazzling effect. These multi-colour prints, set against a black background for a city vibe, are featured on fluid jersey tops, tailored trousers, and sinuous dresses with halter and high-collar necklines.
Bursting with juicy hues of orange, pink, and lime, High Summer by the Sea is designed for sun-soaked escapes. Featuring breezy dresses, signature Pucci caftans in iconic motifs, and beach essentials like white tees with printed sleeves, draped sleeveless tops, and short shorts. Lastly, Urban Sunset presents stylishly embellished knits, frilled necklines, and flowing skirts, alongside updated versions of Pucci’s iconic Marmo denim. Black and blush pink create a softer palette inspired by dance.
Pucci’s Parade collection is a vibrant and exciting celebration of colour, movement, and style. Showcasing the brand’s signature aesthetic in a fresh and contemporary way.
Later,
Bethany
