After having supported his short films (L’Errore, Parlami di me) in her ASVOFF (A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival) official selections, Diane Pernet, with the complicity of co-curator and producer David Herman, was happy to present a special screening of Mimì, The Prince of Darkness. The first feature film by Italian director Brando de Sica, celebrated during the last edition of the Locarno International Film Festival, is a dramatic comedy which revisits with poetry but biting realism the horror movie genre inherited from iconic references from Tod Browning to Dario Argento.
