Last night at 35/37 – SOUNDLAB#3 Miranda Prestyl, Lauritz Palsen, ADC303xLucien Heritier

Dear Shaded Viewers,

I missed the first two SOUNDLAB at 35/37 but I will not miss #4 because it was truly a beautiful and transporting evening. I had bought tickets to go last time but for some unknown reason showed up on the wrong day at the wrong time…don’t ask….

All three performed separately followed by a jam session.

I knew of all the talents of Lucien Heritier with ADC303 but never experienced their performance, beautiful and transporting. Miranda Prestyl has fingers like feathers on the keyboard and Lauritz Palsen is atmospheric and transporting.

Miranda Prestyl is a French classical pianist based in Paris. She has graduated fromt he Ecole Normale de Musique Afred Cortot and is recognized for her technical virtuosity, inspired and revealed on the music of Bach and Schonberg. Miranda is pursuing and renewing her research on the experimentation of sounds, spaces, with a view to unity, discarding the artificial for the most part.

Lauritz Paulsen is a Norwegian musician working with different sound sources and techniques. His main instrument is the drums. Fascinated by the instrument’s simplicity he’s trying to reflect this in his work and approach, both as a solor performer and in group situations.

ADC303 x Lucien Heritier is an improvising duo – ADC303 – modular-synth and Lucien Heritier- drums.
