Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) hosted its fourth annual FTA 2022 Prize at the National Museum in Doha, Qatar. Guests including international and MENA region celebrities, press, and VIPs gathered together to celebrate 6 designer winners, in a ceremony presented by actress Jodie Turner-Smith and standup comedian Nemr Abou Nassar.
The 24 designer finalists presented their collections to the Jury and competed for the following award categories: Ready-to-Wear, Eveningwear, Accessories (Shoes & Handbags), Jewelry, Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award, and Guest Country Award, which was in partnership with Turkey. Each winner receives financial support of up to $200,000 and benefits from an extensive mentorship program with key FTA partners. This includes a special partnership with retailer MATCHESFASHION, which will be stocking exclusively on its website all FTA 2022 winners, in addition to providing business mentorship.

Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) is a non-profit initiative launched in 2018 under the patronage of HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser as honorary chair, with co-chairs HE Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares. It is the first initiative of its kind in the Arab world, FTA was originally created to provide financial support, guidance, and mentorship to emerging designers in the MENA region. The organization has now become so much more— a platform of opportunity through which talented Arab designers can grow and receive international recognition.
