Marine Serre’s Jewellery Collection regenerated from deadstock and existing objects born again and turned into lucky charms

Dear Shaded Viewers,

The philosophy of the brand Marine Serre has always been about regenerating objects and materials. The new Marine Serre’s Jewellery Collection  takes ‘arts de la table’ and transforms the pieces into rings and necklaces. Aside from kitchen wear transformations, another range of regenerated jewellery uses a selection of various shells, pearls, wood pieces and frosted glass beads that have been collected from around the world over the years. The result is lucky charms that are mixed with gold chains and shiny cabochons evoking a shamanic post-apocalyptic aesthetic. I still have the necklace with seashells that was one of Marine Serre’s fashion show invites a few seasons back. It brings the beach to mind and sweet memories.

Later,

Diane
