Dear Shaded Viewers,
Thierry Mugler Couturissime curated by Thierry-Maxime Loriot as an opera in 9 Acts taking us through the 70’s to right now. I had the opportunity to interview Thierry-Maxime Loriot as well as the visual artist, Philipp Furhofer who designed two of the rooms the one with the robot gallery and the infinity room. Rodeo FX created the special effects in the galerie “Metamorphoses:, they worked on the series Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and Birdman, Blade Runner 2049. Michel Lemieux is a director and set designer known for the Cirque du Soleil. The exhibition started in Montreal and Paris is the 4th city. Mugler had never seen fifty years of his designs all together. Mugler gave Loriot a carte blanche and total confidence to create the magic of the exhibition…Opera in Nine Acts.
