CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN EXHIBITION AT PARIS PALAIS DE LA PORTE DORÉE: L’EXHIBITION[NISTE] – REOPENS as seen by Marco de Rivera

Christian Louboutin was born in the same arrondissement as the  Palais de la Porte Dorée and visited the Palais as a child and it was from there that he became inspired with shapes and patterns and his first creations like the Maquereau shoe made of metallic leather and inspired by the fish scales from the Aquarium in the museum. Louboutin is a traveller and gets inspired by the different cultures that he visits as well as from dance, literature and of course the cinema. In exhibition you will find many collaborations with artists such as:  David Lynch, Lisa Reihana, Whitaker Malem, Blanca Li or even Imran Qureshi.
