Technicolor Dreamboats: Anelia Peschev at MQ Vienna Fashion Week 2018. By Glenn Belverio

Dear Shaded Viewers,

If there’s one thing I love more than a designer who isn’t afraid to indulge in vibrant, saturated colors it’s the woman who will wear them—and not just to fancy cocktail parties but to the office, or a trip to the grocery store.

Because MQVFW is held only once a year, some designers opt to show their fall collections that are already being retailed. But Anelia Peschev was ready for spring/summer 19 and her jewel tones, Schiaparelli Shocking Pinks, delicious tropical stripes and sensual chiffon made me consider flying straight to Rio de Janeiro, where spring officially started yesterday, at the end of this fashion week.

Peschev, who was born in Sofia and raised in Vienna, has confidently found her fashion vocabulary in clothes for women who don’t wish to be ignored.
