MCC GLOBAL SHOW IN SEOUL: UNITING EAST AND WEST

Dear Shaded Viewers,

MCC Global, the fashion company supporting young designers founded by Jin Yang in Seoul, celebrated its official launch with an exclusive event during Fashion Week, gathering local and international guests, as well as key political figures. Taking place within the historical landmark of Gwanghuimun Gate -one of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, which protected the city throughout the reign of the Joseon Dynasty- the fashion show introduced 3 talents, namely womenswear line Eunjukoh, sportswear brand NINETEENEIGHTY and French designer Philippe Perisse. Blending performance with fashion was one the show’s highlights, including an opening concert and live drawing act. MCC Global will organize similar gatherings and events in the future, looking for innovative ways to promote independent designers, from Korea and abroad. After the show ended, guests gathered downtown to enjoys drinks, an appropriate DJ set and spectacular views of the city. Seoul is particularly vibrant and beautiful at night, even if its frantic pace never seems to calm down.

Best,

Philippe
