Dear Diane, dear Shaded Viewers,
Last Duyos show was very interesting. My breath wasn’t taken away buy the garments, despite it’s objective beauty, delicacy and precision, but funnily enough the collection worked together really well as an ensemble and I think the designer himself realized that as he showed the whole lot in a carrousel different times during the show… I liked the prints at the end and the flowers before the central yellow serie that reminded me of the rough graphic designs he’d use on his early career, coming directly from an old furniture tissue or a parasol found in a flea market: half 60’s and half decó. It would be really nice to see some street wear again, the way he did in his beginnings… feeling nostalgic here!
Kindly,
Mario.
