A. I. Artisanal Intelligence at IUAV Venice

Dear Shaded Viewers,

After Judith Clark and Francesco Bonami, the curators of A.I. Artisanal Intelligence – Clara Tosi Pamphili and Alessio de’Navasques –  were invited by Maria Luisa Frisa to present their project at IUAV University of Venice.
Curatorial Practices of Fashion is curated by Maria Luisa Frisa at Iuav University of Venice. It is a reflection  on fashion curating and on recent developments in this discipline. This goes beyond  the relationship between fashion, exhibitions and museums, but also puts a focus on the ability to build and manage specialized magazines and editorial projects. It provides specific knowledge about the practices of the museum and about the realization of fashion exhibitions, while at the same time stimulating theoretical reflection on the theme.
The A.I. Artisanal Intelligence lecture was given by Clara Tosi Pamphili and Alessio de’Navasques, and took you on a journey into the Italian know-how between craftsmanship and new experiments on the subject. The curators have described the creation and development of the project A.I. Artisanal Intelligence, a fluid and dynamic model of exhibition to promote the work of young fashion talents, through projects and contaminations with contemporary art, design, film and art crafts.
