Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
MAX.TAN is a Singaporean designer with a strong passion for maximizing minimalistic lines in his designs. While walking through the showroom you are greeted with black and white, a strong and simple colour palette. MAX.TAN is known for using black as a key colour and combining this with just one other colour each collection. For this collection MAX.TAN uses pure white next to his black design, he draws inspiration from the clinical garments worn by doctors and nurses. The garments each contain geometric shapes and a complicated origami folding element, shape is key. The designs are not gender based but can be worn by both men and women. Fringes are a new added element for the collection, creating extra movement for the wearer. The collection features voluminous geometric lines, which can be layered upon one another to create a maximized silhouette.
Best,
Jaleesa
