Dear Shaded Viewers,
When Jewels Make Fashion All The More Precious is a journey through time, aesthetics and styles which opens November 8-20th in Milan. The exhibition will be held in the Tapestry Room of Palazzo Reale. The exhibition is curated by Alba Cappellieri and is dedicated the relationship between jewellery and fashion from the perspective of the interplay with Italian style, manufacture and aesthetics.
The exhibition has 500 ovjects and reflects the technological innovations of new materials and new technologies as well as the artistic use of glass, metals and ceramics.
The exhibition is divided into 3 major secions:
Jewels FOR Fashion – dedicated to the main Italian costume jewellers and pieces of excellence.
Jewels OF Fashion – dedicated to independent designers and brands, with a focus on creative processes.
Jewels WITH Fashion – dedicated to the major designers and how jewellery can interact with clothing.
