PLAN 8 SHOWROOM 2015 – BY JALEESA THIJM

Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,

Plan 8 showcased their talents during fashionweek. Here are the highlights of designers presented by Plan 8 showroom.

Laura Laurens

Laura has a collection inspired by military uniforms from Columbia. Versatile jackets which you can wear up side down and inside out with army colors. Gold and silver details are used on pockets and collars, which gives the design an extra shimmer

Kult Domini

A shoe brand that integrated the 'Garden of Eden' theme in their current collection. Using pony hair and calf leather in green tones, to play into the Garden atmosphere.

Matar

Matar is presenting her 4th collection inspired by the time the circus got introduced to the United States. She used inspiration from the tents, clowns and rings , elements that are always present at the circus. Slits are inspired by the openings of tents; sleeves have little elements of clown costumes. Matar has used this inspiration in a subtle and tasteful way.

Stefanie Biggel

Floral details decorate the collection of Stefanie Biggel. Combining different textures gives the designs an interesting appeal. Mixing sportswear tops and jumpers, with well cut jackets and skirts makes for a diversified collection.

Bernhard Willhelm

An extravagant and artistic collection, incorporating paintings and photographs on the designs, Bernhard Willhelm autumn winter 15/16 collection is an interesting one to watch. Unusual silhouettes, big volumes combined with different fabrics and textures. The collection are presented on dolls just as in a museum shot by Josh Paul Thomas.

Best,

Jaleesa
