Within the Greater Buenos Aires, “Las Chicas” refers to a band of noisy females who refuse to conform to the stereotype of the “proper woman”. This could aptly apply to the House of Matching Colours who has worked diligently to maintain their youthful credentials . . . They meet in public parks, take boat trips to Tiger (a surreal town from a nearby island), debate during picnics and enjoy hidden beauty. They are always ready for new creative attacks – their recent collection uses metal zips with specific colour treatments as weapons in their skirmishes into unknown territory. When combined with the ton-sur-ton hand coloured leathers, and the decorated hand-painted pastel leather (with real bullets) it becomes an outright assault!  “Dios mio, Las Chicas”.
