CARLOS GIL – MODALISBOA SS/15 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI PHOTOS BY RUI VASCO

Dear Shaded Viewers,

One of Portugal's most accomplished designers, Carlos Gil showed a coherent and elegant show, focusing on the theme of tennis with relaxed sportswear shapes and clean lines. Gil's strength is intricate tailoring, as well as an acute understanding of fabrics and textures. Using stripes and polka dots to emphasize the sharpness of his silhouettes, he also added softness with billowy sleeves and fluid materials. A subtle mix of comfort and sophistication, his collection was sleek and effortless, with several pieces to covet.

Best,

Philippe
