Iconic Spanish actress Rossy de Palma to make US stage debut in Jessica Mitrani’s “Traveling Lady” (World Premiere) October 10 & 11 at FIAF’s Crossing the Line festival!

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Rossy de Palma makes her US Stage Debut in Jessica Mitrani's Traveling Lady on Friday, October 10th & Saturday October 11th at FIAF, Florence Gould Hall; 55 East 59th St in NYC. Rossy met Jessica at ASVOFF the year that Jessica's film won first prize and Rossy was the Godmother of ASVOFF. The relation grew from there. Jessica was born in Colombia but is based in NYC. Travelling Lady conjures the daring spirit of Nellie Bly, the 19th century American journalist who circled the globe in 72 days, carrying little more than the clothes on her back. The journey is physical and psychological, earthly and cosmic. De Palma plays numerous roles as she challenges social and gender dynamics in this fantastical subversive world. Costumes designed by the collective threeASFOUR.
