Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
Lea Peckre’s collection “Part 1” was satisfying. That's to say, there’s nothing not to like here. The light-weight denim, asymmetry and those Japanese-style commerbunds that have been happening around, gave the collection relevance, interest and what I’m sure will be commercial success. Also the use of technical fabrics, bonding and 3D stitching were integrated well as they didn't take over the role of design. Even the final few looks of forest-green-flame fashion-ice-skaters I thought were charming and the most interesting part of the collection. This idea, however, could have been pushed further, so we'll wait for Part 2.
