Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
Dorry Hsu is continuing her series "The Aesthetic of Fears" this year at the RCA presentation in London. This collection of 3D printed masks, jewellery and bronze sculpture offers a higly-tactile representation of abstract and irrational emotion. Drawing upon the work of Francis Bacon, Dorry uses her own fears to project a universal point of reference using a technology that's still very much unchartered; perhaps suggesting another layer of societal trepidation.
