SEOUL FASHION WEEK – DOII FALL WINTER 2014/15 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

With her passion for color, embroidery and opulence, Doii Lee is a bit of an oddity within the Korean fashion landscape. Having worked for the likes of John Galliano and Antonio Marras before launching her own brand, she's clearly not a minimalist. Celebrating female curves and the beauty of embellishment, her clothes are flamboyant and sexy, coupled with a unique eye for unexpected pairings. This season, her dresses were flirty and fierce, emphasizing the waist and making a statement. Unabashedly feminine, her vision felt optimistic and fun, giving a nice breath of fresh air to the week's packed show schedule.

Best,

Philippe
