Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
It is rare to come by innovative sunglass design these
days and I was taken by the Berlin-based brand Kuboraum, designed by Sergio Sergio Eusebi and Livio Graziottin. I liked the unconventional shapes and treatments of the frames. One
frame type was distressed by being burned by hand. Another frame had a beautiful texture achieved by passing a roller with deep grooves over the hot plastic. The
brand is coming to Paris where they will present their sunglasses for the
Japanese clothing brand Julius.
