Liu Fang was all about opulence. The location was stunning, where enormous chandeliers hung surrounded by golden sculpted walls. A spotless cream carpet was revealed moments before the show began.
The collection itself was made entirely from cream cashmere, a true testament to the versatility of the medium. Various weights and densities were used in ways that mimicked other fabrics. Trousers with a thin, bouncy consistency resembled silk. Thick, densely ribbed knit was layered to make jackets that appeared sturdy and crisp. One can only imagine the hours it took to create each look in this collection, the level of skill is phenomenal throughout.
