Dear Shaded Viewers,
Guests have arrived from China, New Zealand, Dubai and from what seems to be every corner of the planet, to celebrate a project curated by Maria Luisa Frisa for ZegnaArt – Lucy + Jorge Orta. Anna Zegna, the firm's image director and president of Fondazione Zegna will unveil the details of the Zegna Art Project this morning at the press conference at the MAXXI museum. The Special Projects division of Zegna is in collaboration with and conceived for the MAXXI Museum "Fabulae Romanae" . The museum is designed by Zaha Hadid and with the support of the Centre for Sustainablel Fashion of the London College of Fashion where Lucy Orta is an instructor. The exhibition wil be up until the 23 September after that a part of the installation will be donated by the Zegna group to the Maxxi and become part of the permanent collection.
Today was spent enjoying a Roman Holiday.I enjoyed the imperial tour which included the Colosseum and a private tour of the Vatican Museum. I do wish I'd worn flat shoes but then again, I never do and I managed to survive without breaking an ankle.
