Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,
An invitation from the talented Ivan Talijancic, co-founder and co-artistic director of Wax Factory. I heard so many great things about Ivan and his work last fall from Haans Nicholas Mott, who collaborated with Wax Factory on this project. When I met Ivan at the Siki Im show in September, it was one of those BOOM moments that rolled into a non-stop conversation for an hour or more as though we were old friends. He has a truly brilliant point of view and an unlimited creative vision. A very, very short version of this work screened at A Shaded View On Fashion Film in Paris in October. I encourage anyone in New York to step out and experience this.
