Legacy of sixty-one works by Isabella de Chirico Pakszwer, 2011
Nearly twenty-one years after the death of his wife Isabella in 1990, the Foundation Giorgioand Isa de Chirico sixty-one works bequeathed to the City of Paris. This legacy has beenmade ??possible through the exhibition Giorgio de Chirico, the factory of dreams presented at the Museum of Modern Art in 2009 which showed any consistency in the work of the artist, his talent as an inventor and bold his contempt for the conventions for the rest of his life.
This exceptional collection includes thirty paintings, twenty drawings, and eleven sculpturesthat reflect a metafisica still operative, is part of the route of the permanent collection (Level 2, Hall 8).
