Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,
I was introduced to Abraco, a tiny espresso bar nestled amongst boutiques in the East Village, by my friend Andrew Zipern while I was "living" in New York for a few weeks surrounding fashion week in September. (I say living as from LA I took along my dog, a closet full of clothes and shoes, and moved into an apartment). Their cortado is the most heavenly coffee drink I have ever experienced, and coupled with their delicious olive oil cake, well you can imagine. Needless to say, after one taste I was addicted, and found it quite necessary for my survival some days.
