SEOUL FASHION WEEK SS12 / LIE SANG BONG – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Lie Sang Bong's collection was a breath of fresh air. Working with exclusive prints that had a psychedelic flavor, he showed clothes that were incredibly made and imaginative. It was a bold, upbeat and positive statement. The designer knows his craft and doesn't really need to prove anything. He let his ideas run wild this time and the audience loved every second of it.

The evening dresses were pure fantasy, reminding me of Venetian masked balls. They felt more like Couture than ready-to-wear.

Best,
