On Saturday afternoon, Lie Sang Bong's colourful Spring/ Summer 2012 collection brought busy fashion editors to life. Inspired by "Dancheong," a decorative style of Korean architecture, the collection merged contrasting elements of technology and nature, harmoniously reconciling bright graphics and structured silhouettes with fluid textures of silk, jersey and tencel.
Plastic facemasks and embellishments distorted pretty feminine frocks, creating an otherworldly wood-nymph aesthetic.
The vast array of colour palettes and textures resulted in a versatile, wearable collection that is both innovative and artistic.
