Because of all the recent hoo-haw over the Gaga/Formichetti Mugler show, a lot of my been-there, done-that friends have been reminiscing about how great Thierry Mugler's designs were in the '80s and early '90s. My friend Carole Pope, the singer and author of Anti Diva, sent me this photo of her in her amazing Mugler jacket in 1980 and I just had to share it with you.
