The Galliano's show yesterday evening was a dive into the 30's, a total immersion and Galliano is known to tell complete stories. The tale of last night was all about Charlie Chaplin : from the make-up and the hair to to the models' walk. The silhouettes were really tight at the top, being flared around the legs with sarouels and extra-large pants. The shoes, with the sole opened, followed this "retro-mood" and could have come from Modern Times. It is paradoxical to see a breath of fresh air for menswear coming from the past.
