Dear Shaded iewers,
walking uptown with my friend Yoann, we encountered a lot of weird things, like a 3-floor M&M’s store filled with M&M’s tshirts, boxers, baby clothers..and M&M’s. but i’ll spare you pictures of what hundreds of square meters of inane merchandising looks like..
Going into FAO Schwartz, the biggest and most dreamy toy-store ever, we walked along their Limited Edition Barbie collection.
Some very classy 50’s and 60’s-looking Barbie’s,
some very 90’s Donatella-looking Barbies, some very Metrosexual Ken’s…
I don’t understand why don’t they don’t have more designer Barbies, I mean, what better way to “broaden your customer base” than to get customers while they’re still young ?!
and then the very sassy Anna Sui Barbie!
Just imagine Viktor & Rolf Barbie and Bernhard Wilhelm Barbie.
Oh. I was forgetting one Barbie that I didn’t really get.
Beergarten Barbie ???
Later,
Antoine
