Taiwan's cherished designer Sophie Hong opened her boutique in Palais Royal today. At her side was Michel CHing-long-LU, representative of Taipei in France. He came directly from the Festival at Cannes to celebrate Sophie Hong's success. www.sophiehong.com.
Michel Ching-long LU welcomed us all and congratulated Sophie for her creations and told us about the other treasures of Taiwan. We dined at Le Grand Vefour and had the most amazing desert, it looked like a piece of marble but actually is made of chocolate which you break at the top and discover mango and other delicious treats.
