Alex’s dad Steve Olson is an old friend of mine. He used to date one of my models, Lovey , when I was a designer in New York in the 80’s. Today his son Alex is in Paris for a big skateboard event, Quicksilver celebrates their 40th anniversary.The event brings together QUicksilver athletes including Kelly Slater, Todd Richards, Travis Rice, Danny Garcia, Alex Olson, Jeremy FLores, Mathieu Crepel, Robby Naish, Kassia Meador, Lisa Andersen and Torah Bright. Aside from the skating the celebration includes exhibitions in art, music, culture and fashion. Graffiti artist Andre transforms giant ramps. The events during the daytime are free to the public the Dead by Sunrise concert tonight with DJ Mix Master Mike is 40 EUROS.
