Twenty three year old designer Walter Griao was born in Sao Paulo where he studied film theory at Sao Paulo University. After working as a coach and stage director for emerging actors he visited Tokyo in 2007 where he fell in love with Japanese fashion and was inspired by the Brazil Fashion NOw event that promotes fashion from Brazil in Japan. Griao moved to Tokyo the next year and started his label. This season he was inspired by the muse of Man Ray, Lee Miller. Griao works for the mens wear designer John Lawrence Sullivan.
